Caliber is a communication coaching app for dating conversations. You upload screenshots of your conversations, and Caliber provides scored analysis, coaching, and reply strategies.
Screenshots are processed on your iPhone using Apple Vision (on-device OCR). The raw screenshot image never leaves your device. Only the extracted conversation text is sent for analysis.
Extracted conversation text is sent through our server to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your analysis. This text is not stored on our servers after the analysis is returned. Anthropic's data retention policies apply to their processing of the text.
We store behavioral metadata to support your experience:
We do not store the words in your conversations.
If you create an account (via Apple Sign-In), we store your Apple-provided user identifier and any preferences you set (demographics, communication goals). No account is required for your first free analysis.
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings within the app. This removes all stored metadata, preferences, and account information.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
